8 of us ate here on Saturday evening (09/03) as part of 40th birthday celebrations for 3 of the group and had an excellent evening. From the minute we arrived we received friendly and professional service initially from the Maitre d' and then also from all the young staff at the table. The wine list is varied with some imaginative... More

I don't understand why this establishment is not in the top ten. Don't go here if you want a cheap meal. Go here if you want quality service, excellent meals and lovely surroundings. The whole experience is wonderful. Thank you.

Food excellent. Staff friendly. Rooms simple but clean and good bathrooms. Would stay again without a doubt. Only quibble was that they had run out of olives to eat with drinks but more than made up for it with a few slices of excellent cheese to nibble on.

Booked a surprise night away for my husband and I for our anniversary. We stayed in the Oak room which was perfect. Our meal in the restaurant was superb and the service was excellent. Our breakfast the next morning was superb the best I've had!

Celebrating a birthday with a party of 8. We were allowed to choose from either the bar or a la carte menu. Quiet dining room but overall very competitively priced, with reasonable service and very good food. Thanks for making the birthday lunch special.

Stayed one night Sat 14th January for a family function with accommodation. Warm welcome on arrival, Pine Room was comfortable - met all our needs and more. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was delicious with locally sourced ingredients. Great!

A relaxing evening. A welcoming pre dinner bar and an extensive if not cheap wine list, an excellent starter and main course, we had steak which was cooked perfectly for both our tastes. After an excellent main meal the desert was a bit disappointing with a very solid top to the Creme Brûlée, I have seen softer toffee apples!, and... More
