Comfy rooms, including a (shared) sitting room. Excellent choice for breakfast, owners will also provide dinner if requested. The Owners are very friendly and interested in your reason for staying, and make you feel welcome. The location is a 10 minute walk from the Essex Record Office.

Stopped whilst visiting the Olympics. We had an ideal room,with a fridge containing fresh milk- much better than the Uht stuff for a cup of tea you normally get.
