A truly exceptional B&B. Staff are warm and friendly. Clean, thoughtfully furnished rooms. Fabulous breakfast. Incredible building. No hesitation to say the best hotel/ b&b experience we have had in the uk.

We've just arrived home after a wonderful short retreat to a rather bleak weathered but beautiful Sussex, wishing we could stay for a little longer at the lovely Kester House. Derek and Monique were wonderful hosts - from presenting us with tea and cakes on arrival to the home baked muffins accompanying our (equally divine) cooked breakfast. We were treated... More

So glad you enjoyed the relaxing Brede room - the house has its own warmth despite the lousy wet weather. More

Have just returned home from this beautiful, quaint B & B. We only spent one night here, but were made very welcome. The hosts are friendly and very hospitable. We enjoyed tea and homemade cake when we arrived. Our room was the Armada, which was charming and cosy. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend and... More

A wonderful personal warm welcome from the owners who are rightly proud of their home steeped in history. Every detail has been thought through and tastefully executed in the bedroom, bathroom and breakfast areas. Monique is a suburb cook and her talent shines at the breakfast table.
