Useful doorstops, practical trays in the rooms for your shoes, everything you needed tea, coffee hairdrier etc and lots of hot water, aided by the inbuilt water softener. You can tell that Pauline takes huge pride in her home and checks that you... More

My wife and I had never been to Southwold prior. Our friends recommended that we go to see this Jewel of a place. They were not wrong. We booked three nights midweek to miss the Easter/Wedding day rush. We were not disappointed. We were met by Pauline at the door and after a few house rules which were even fun... More

The check-in times were a bit restrictive (between 12pm - 1pm & 5pm - 7pm) considering that Southwold is right on the East... More

Lovely B&B in restored Victorian House. Friendly landlady offering comfortable accommodation and tasty breakfast - no issue with special dietary requirements. Breakfast is at a communal table and offered within a short period, otherwise everything is great. Our room - no 1 - had a super four posted bed with fabulous sea views - just across the road. Good en-suite... More
