Wow what a really hideous experience, the mattress is hard, the room is dirty and painted in Depressing grey. We booked a family room and it contained three flat pillows and no additional blankets for a child. Luckily enough the child didn't come with us. We only had one towel to we shared it (despite the fact it was soaking...

Room was clean and spacious and bed was comfy. Hardly any noise from the main road even on a Saturday night. Toilet made an awful screeching noise after being flushed and it was hard to shut the bathroom door from the inside tho. OK for £52.95. Food in Little Chef over the road very good for breakfast.
Having just been refurbished, the hotel was in better condition than i have got used to. Having said this, I have no problem with Travelodge, as they usually give what you pay for. We had an upstairs room this time. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights in May 2012...

I am on site in my Room right now, no problems, its quieter than I expected despite having a front Room. Internet from Travelodge is £5 for an Hour but the signal coming from Little Chef across the Road has been free for an Hour and a Half.
Stayed here Jan 2012 the rooms were very clean the staff very friendly and booked a bargin £25 for two nights on there sale prices... as someone else said.. it does what it says on the tin.. you have a petrol station 2 seconds away for all your little bits, and a burger king next to that....most important THERE was...

I stayed here for three weeks in January and February 2012 while having some housing issues. The hotel had been recently renovated so it was in better conditionn than most in the chain. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. When I checked in the guy on reception saw how long I was staying for and put...

This TL is particularly tired and now quite grotty. I suppose its ok if youre only paying 15 per night but at 39 its not good. The toilet seat had brown marks...wonder what that could have been!! The pan had skid marks, and there was mold on the curtains. The linen was ripped, and the bed had lumps in it....

Good road links, nice clean warm rooms, and friendly staff. The only slight issue I had was the TV, which doesn't have a proper menu so don't you know which channel you are on. However, for value for money it would take some beating.
A group of us stayed there for a wedding. It is in a great location for the dual carriageway although you cannot hear any noise from it. Plenty of room for 3 guys to stay in one family room comfortably. A few members had to arrive a night earlier than planned and so did another seperate booking and were allowed...
