Exterior of the hotel is lovely. Council car park at the front of the hotel which is free so does get busy. £5 to park in hotel's private car park at back. Kids welcome, comfortable, good fresh food. Not well advertised. Specials board said roast pork and lamb but no mention of kids portions or any prices. Had to ask about everything. Noone was forth coming with information.

Arrived after driving through blizzards and sleet. Hotel staff very efficient and cheery. Room quite large, comfortable and once we turned the radiator on - it was cosy! All meals were sufficient and quite tasty. Our in-house credit was a bonus when using the bar after dinner. Would return and also recommend to family and friends.
