I am totally baffled! When you checked into your rooms I explained that the heaters were switched to a medium setting and that you could adjust them up or down according to your preference of heat (some people like a hot room whilst others prefer it cooler). As you went out a couple of hours later you came and told... More

We stayed in the ensuite family room which was lovely. Spotlessly clean and furnished in keeping with the beautiful old house. The room was lovely and warm despite it being February!Breakfast was excellent and Lynda was very attentive without being intrusive. We visited a local pub in Hunsworth that Lynda recommended for dinner one evening. Very peaceful location and would... More

We had the family room for 2 nights and it suited us fine as a couple. Breakfasts were very good and location is suited us well for our holiday to the Norfolk coast. Would use again.

We loved it at Hempstead Hall. It's a lovely big old house with a big rambling field setting, ducks geese guines fowl, donkey and pony, and a friendly dog. Lynda is a natural host who is very welcoming and the breakfast is good. It was the cheapest B&B we encountered in Norfolk but I liked it the most. We had... More

Nice welcome. We had bedroom with seperate bathroom ahem the bath is in dire need of resurfacing or removal and large shower put in. This is 1st farm stay we have stayed at that has not had complimentary biscuits included. Television could have had larger screen 22inch instead of 14 inch. Bedroom door lock could be better you had to... More

Thank you for your comments. I’m very sorry that you were not happy with your stay. I do endeavour to welcome my guests and give them a happy, relaxing, comfortable stay whilst they are with us. As I mentioned to you when you were here the hard water and cleaning products have dulled the bath, but as you know it... More

Stayed here last week, and do not know what the person below is on about. The House is impressive and recently decorated. Yes, you get a bath not a shower, but it is a B&B not a hotel! You are staying in someones house, not going to the Ritz. The breakfast was made with local ingredients - eggs from the... More

Spent a weekend at Hempstead Hall in June and were incredibly disappointed with the standard of accomocation. To house itself is very grand and a lovely building in lovely countryside on a farm but the rooms are in serious need of decoration and modernisation. On arrival we were guided to our room which had an adjacent bathroom (not en suite)... More

Excellent service from Mrs Mack. Very tasty breakfast using locally produced food. Large comfortable room. Lovely walks direct from working farm, and into the lovely town of Holt. Plenty of geese, ducks, horse, donkey. Would certainly stay again. Watch out for very hot water.
