A truly superb find - spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, delicious breakfasts and such unusual attention to detail, which makes staying here a real treat. An ideal place for anyone who appreciates a little luxury. We would defy anyone not to be impressed by Field House, and are in complete agreement with earlier reviews.

first impression was one of care - greeted at the door, cases carried to room, tea and cake served in beautifully appointed sitting room with china service and linen napkins. Such a lovely place with a genuine warm welcome. Excellent accommodation and wonderful food. A brilliant place to relax and unwind. Little touches like the beds being turned down and a classical CD playing when you return in the evening make this a brilliant weekend retreat.
