Pros:
- The only option to stay in Satpada.
- Located very close to the Jetty
- There is a lunch buffet. The food is not tasty. But at least you dont have to wait around for an hour to get served.
- Room cleanliness and size are acceptable.
- Tariff is cheap.

The place is Odisha Govt. run hotel. The rooms are average,linens are also....so carry atleast one bed sheet. It is the location that compensate for everything.....you can take a stroll in the jetty.....can catch a morning boat for dolphins....mouth of chilka is also very near....but Kalijai etc. is far off... For watching dolphins this is the best place....
We drove down from Konark through Puri to Satpada. The cab driver had some apprehensions about some possible violence in Satpada and hence he refused to stay overnight there. We had not expected this and hence were taken aback. We spoke to the agency and they finally agreed to drop us at Yatrinivas the night and from there the cab...
