“Not bad..good value for money but needs improvement”

This place had been selected for me by my local friends. Room was clean as was the hotel premises, no problems with hot water 24/7 either. Only complaint is the kitchen..they have fixed timings for meals(which is fine) but once they ran out of milk for morning tea, then the next day there was no bread for a toast..then..poor communication... More

"Eldorado" is the best guest house in Shillong which i found.. Its resided in Dhankheti area in main road and also nearby to Police Bazaar (Main market of Shillong)..Rs.60-80 towards police bazaar from the gate of Eldorado. Rs.270-400 towards Shillong peak from the guest house. And Rs.1000-2000 to roam entire sight seeing of Cherapunji. The guest house has own restaurant... More

I'd heard about Eldorado Guest House from a friend who'd stayed there, and I'm glad I followed her recommendation. The guest house has cheaper rooms but we stayed in the deluxe one, which was spacious, comfortable, and also had a nice, traditional feel.
