I'm just wrapping up a month long stay at the Hope Hotel and I don't have any complaints at all about the stay. Now, I probably wouldn't stay here on my own dime but I wouldn't hesitate staying here if on government business. I've read most of the reviews that other travelers have posted and I can honestly say that... More

Pros: -Close to the base (though the locked gate between it and the base makes it an unnecessarily long walk -The restaurant is actually pretty good and reasonably priced -Rooms are clean and generally adequate Cons: -Advertised as Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, but didn't have enough signal in my room to use it, had to go to the lobby if... I've stayed here twice. The first time was about two months ago for the AF Marathon. That room was right by the VERY busy elevator, so the room was really loud and I didn't get much rest. Second time was a business trip to Dayton, and this was the only place available within my price range. The room was clean,... More

We stayed here while in town for the Air Force Marathon and were very pleased with the whole experience. The rooms were clean and efficient and very reasonable. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. The restaurant on site (Packy's Sports Bar and Grill) was outstanding on every level. We ate there the first night because we were... More

We just stayed at the Hope Hotel for 2 nights over labor day weekend for a soccer tournament in the area. We were originally booked at the Marriott and they moved us to the Hope Hotel due to overbooking. We were very disappointed when we learned of this change since the Hope does not offer a pool and and the... More

I had the opportunity to stay at this property recently to review it for an upcoming military reunion our group is planning in 2012. What I noticed was that the room I stayed in was clean, had new beds, bedding, draperies and even a flat panel TV. I realize that this unique hotel was built originally to house military (I... More

$80 per night was too much to pay for this Motel 6 clone. The hotel, renowned for hosting the Dayton Peace Accords, which ended the Yugoslavian wars in the middle 1990s, is a disappointment. The interior is a tired and musty. The rooms are tacky and need deep cleaning. Parking lot lights shine into the rooms. The staff did not... More

This hotel is a terrible value. It's not a nice hotel - maybe a passable 2-Star - but it STILL costs $70+/night! "That's a good price" you say? For $75 you can stay down the road at a REAL hotel; the Comfort Suites. None of the furniture matches, the TV is from 1990, the bathroom was prison quality....etc etc. Don't... More

We had our Air Force unit (548th RTG) here and the staff of the hotel provided excellent service. They provided us with a large room for our hospitality suite and kept us well stocked with ice and did not complain when we went until 0230 in the morning. The hotel restuarant was just down the hall and had a great... More

Do yourself a favor, and don't even consider this hotel. First off, the staff is estremely rude, and of no help whatsoever! The rooms are horrid, and I may need to get shots and a bloodtest. There is absolutely Nothing within walking distance, and driving anywhere is more confusing than chinese algebra. The only place to eat is the hotel... More
