We had the ideal wedding week-end at Garden Manor. Our chidlren wanted an intimate wedding in a lovely setting, and our hosts, Al and Allen, certainly provided that . . . and much more. Some of us spent two nights there, enjoying the elegant accomdations and fabulous breakfasts. The wedding ceremony was in the garden, and our guests found it... More

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before but it will now become a traditional for us! We can understand why this bed and breakfast was chosen as the best in the area recently. The history connected with the home was fascinating, the hosts Al and Allen were exceptionally welcoming, the decor was visually enchanting and the breakfast... More

I grew up in Columbus, and have not been back for a vacation in about 20 years. The city has much changed (for the better), as has the section of town where the Garden Manor is located. Be forewarned - "Old Town East" (as this area just 5 minutes east of downtown Columbus is called) is still a bit "rustic",... More

The Garden Manor is breathtaking! The hosts were friendly and incredibly helpful with suggestions. The only thing that I regret is that I planned for a day trip instead of an overnight stay! It was almost painful to leave the beautiful, serene setting of the Garden Manor. Thank you for allowing my guests and me to have an elegant and... More

Al and Allan - another terrific time with both of you. We stayed in the guest house and could only say that, had we had a less busy schedule, I would have been satisfied with staying there the entire weekend. We are definitely coming back with our good friends for Valentine's Day weekend 2012! All the best to you. More

We returned once again to The Garden Manor to experience a perfect stay, cared for by our hosts who have lovingly restored this historic mansion. Upon arrival we enjoyed a glass of wine by the warm fire, reading to the soft music of the player piano. The conservatory, which overlooks the garden lit by tasteful lighting in the evening, added... We were so impressed and surprised that such a treasure exsisted in Columbus Ohio and we didn't know til now! We had such a wonderful relaxing time. We had reserved the "cariage house"...(We'd love to have it for a month as a "summer home".) The breakfasts were the best, tasted great just enough and presentation was grand. Al & Allen... More

I live in Westerville (just outside Columbus) and decided to take my husband on a date weekend in town where we would do only things we'd never done before. We stayed in the Early Room at the Garden Manor and were delighted with the experience. Al and Allen were friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable, offering us wine when we arrived and... More

I had to relocate rather suddenly from Florida for my new job in Columbus and, fortunately, found the Garden Manor. My extended stay was truly a treat. I loved the breakfasts, the fantastic restored Victorian manor, the beautiful outdoor garden, the amiable and generous hosts, and the interesting fellow guests. The manor is very conveniently located and easy to access.... More

Two friends and I stayed in the guest house at the Garden Manor for one night while touring the Columbus area. When we knocked on the door and Al came to open it, you could distinctly hear all three of our jaws thud to the floor as we got our first glimpse of the interior. Al gave us a gracious... More
