Had a very nice stay at the Doubletree Tudor Arms this Memorial Day weekend. Love, love, love that they used an old building rather than put up something character-free and bland. There's still some polish to add, and some of the decor mixes modern and Tudor a tad unsuccessfully, but still. Plaster walls, wood-carved panels, giant old chandeliers, and wide... More

I have to say, the staff was absolutely wonderful. At one point, they had all the shuttles going to take a swarm of guests downtown and just couldn't keep up so the night manager drove us in his own personal car to make sure we made it for our dinner reservation. That is dedication!! What a wonderful team the doubletree... More

OK, before I say anything about the hotel - I first have to comment on parking. I HATE.... and I mean HATE Valet parking. I travel a lot for work, and once I get situated in a car I don't like to worry about hiding things, taking things out, moving things around, and worrying about what I might need to... More

Good Points about this property: ~Easy to find ~Friendly staff ~Great food ~Beautiful and comfortable rooms What we did not like about this property: ~We requested an early check-in, and then I called to ensure we could get in early (check-in is at 4p; we scheduled a check-in for 2p). We arrived at 230-245p and the room was not ready.... More

From a distance, The Tudor Arms hotel is a striking, tall brick building, clearly more than a few decades old. I was excited to see what it was like inside; I’ve seen some fabulous old hotels that have undergone very successful renovations / modernizations. Unfortunately, I found that the interior décor of the lobby seemed somewhat jarring to the senses,... More

Just spend 5 days at the Cleveland Clinic. The Intercontinental hotels were out of our budget and I was afraid of the reviews from the Guest House Hotel. I found this Double Tree online and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel had a great style to it. It felt pretty fancy and was across the street from the CCF Campus. Depending... More

My family and I were in town due to having to go to the Cleveland Clinic. I chose this hotel due to pictures and reviews from this site. I think the front desk, valet and all employees were extremely friendly. However, the one exception is the servers in the restaurant. We ate there twice and both nights they seemed more... More

Beautiful historic architecture, modern rooms. Bar/restaurant staff indifferent and slow, but food was good. Hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood; would not go walking around after dark. It's right next to a major hospital, so sirens are common, as is construction noise from expansion, but not out of the ordinary for an urban hotel. My bathroom was small. I'm average... More

Last week my son and I arrived in Cleveland for a much anticipated trip to the Rock Hall of Fame and 2012 Induction. Our reservation was for a property on Euclid Street, originally reseved with another brand, but now owned by Doubletree. We arrived only to learn that the hotel was closed for renovations. After a brief "omg", we called... More

On a visit to the Cleveland Clinic, needed a nearby hotel. Others recommended were completely full so we booked this one. We were afforded a 1/2 price break due to visiting the Cleveland Clinic. They also provide timely shuttle service there. It took a while to figure out the shuttle service because all of their copies were really bad, but... More
