The privacy, the quiet surroundings, even the lovely view of the grounds from the personal balcony where I had my coffee each morning, all helped to make my stay at the Harpster-Davenport Guest House an excellent experience! My girlfriend and I stayed here for her birthday weekend. I spoke to Janell on the phone and had visited the website (which although a good and thorough website, does not do the Guest House justice), but was not 100% sure of what we would be in for. Perfect place to just get away and relax, unwind and regroup. Our first booking at the Davenport Guesthouse...we weren't to sure what to expect.
