Booked for 4 people & paid in December 2012. Arrived in April to find no one in reception. Rang the number on the door, received a call back approx 15 minutes later to be told there was no accommodation as it had been double booked. We recently stayed over the Easter Break. (A family of 4). All rooms were very clean with high quality linen used throughout. Good curtain coverage ensured we didn't wake just too early. I have stayed in both the Amble Inn and Amble Up in Nov 12 and March 13. I think the fact that we have been twice in six months says it all! Both Amble properties are very comfortable and have everything you need for a really relaxing break. Hahndorf can be a little busy at time with new coach loads... More

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in the lovely log cabin Amble Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived the cabin was all ready and as it was a very hot day, Roger had thoughtfully put on the air conditioning and ceiling fan which was much appreciated!
