I am not one to write reviews, but I felt people needed to know. I have done several Travel Auction over many years and cannot fault the company or the system. I have lost the chance to take up the voucher, 100% me fault, to many things got in the way and it expired, not blaming anyone. What a am extremely disappointed about is Longbeach Apartments in Coffin Bay, South Australia are happy to profiteer from the world Covid pandemic. I had a voucher which expired 31/5/2020, had booked to go end of March, early April, this is a trip of over 1600 km's, 1 way, so planning 3 days to get there & 3 days home, but had to cancel due to travel restrictions. Spoke to travel auctions about where this all stands, and was informed that once restrictions are lifted, we should be OK to still use the voucher. I contacted Longbeach Apartments 2 weeks ago, to be told that they would not except the voucher, out of the goodness of their hearts, they had extended the offer for a couple of months and that was it. So, buys beware, that if you book with Longbeach Apartments and there are more lock downs due to Covid, which is highly likely. you most likely do your money. Longbeach have given no concern or compassion to what people are going through, or if they can travel as soon the borders are open. Any business with a heart and compassion, would make these vouchers, which are per paid, valid for people to use. Given what has already happened, to so many people & businesses, Longbeach can't say, that they have suffered, as they have the money, long before the holiday is used, and are clearly profiteering out of a bad situation. This is not the way Australians treat Australians. What ever happened too, she'll be right, no worries, we can sort this out. It truly is a sad day when people willing take from others, when the world is going through this World pandemic.…
