My husband and I were pleased to take the advice of Tripadviaor reviewers to stay at what turned out to be prime accommodation near Daintree National Park. Terry and Carl Delaney's hospitality is unsurpassed. So is Carl's cooking. Beautiful views, proximity to highly prized local destinations, fantastic weather and friendly hosts contributed to the trip of a lifetime. Be sure... More

Stayed here for one night on the way to Cape Trib. Terry and Carl were very kind and welcoming, also informative and fun. The rooms are absolutely delightful and well equipped (including huge walk-in wardrobe and snuggly bathrobes) and the bed was extremely comfortable. The B & B is in a delightful location overlooking canefields and it feels like the... More

found this gem by accident and as it was cheaper than others in the area weren't expecting too much. How wrong we were. The rooms are wonderful and have everything you need including towels for the beach. The house is set into the hillside with amazing views all round. It is the ideal location for visiting the area as nothing... More

This little B&B in Mossman is in a gorgeous location surrounded by lush mountains and sugar cane fields and it's only a short drive from Port Douglas. The rooms are spaceous, clean and have direct access outside. It has a beautiful pool area to relax in and the breakfast is superb, so much variety including fresh local fruits, jams, breads... More

I booked a 4 night stay at Fantail based on the previous recommendations on this website and I can honestly say that I did not regret my decsision one little bit! This place is a gem. It's away from the crowds of Port Douglas, where the only noises you will hear are from the local animals, but it is close... More

There are beautiful gardens surrounding a fabulous pool and a lake which attracts local birdlife and a stunning mountain backdrop. We were within easy reach of all the... More

The location is not only beautiful but ideal - close enough to Mossman Gorge and Port Douglas to make touring there easy but apart from the crowds. It is only a short walk from a winery with tropical fruit wines. Terry thinks of everything from robes in the rooms to a wonderful breakfast featuring fresh croissants, fruit, etc. When I... More

We stayed at Fantail for 3 very enjoyable nights. The Delaney family showered us with jovial hospitality. Our rooms were spacious and clean and had direct outdoor access for star-gazing and swimming. Great location between Mossman Gorge and Port Douglas. Opportunities abound for wildlife viewing. Breakfasts were delicious and filling and included a variety of juices from fruit trees on... More
