One has to stay to really appreciate everything on offer, my words would not do the experiece justice . Wonderful setting , great facilities , and Dot and Noel made sure the stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Great breakfast . Good value too .Will be recommending to friends who will be visiting the area. More

Firstly we would like to apologise for the delay of this review! We stopped here during August 2011 while touring OZ. It was only for one night but we were made to feel really welcome into their lovely home. Dot and Noel are very helpful in giving advice on where to eat and drink. You can't go wrong staying here. Dot and Noel are great hosts and having a nice home is just icing on the cake. Happy Birthday to Noel :). We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. Everything was ready for us and they keep the home spotless. Dot is very helpful with things to do around the area, a great concierge. She helped us to book... More

When we were walking up to the front door, Dot put her head and said "welcome, come in". We have stayed at many B and Bs over the years, and it is always a bit daunting to walk up to the front door and meet your hosts. What a lovely way to start our stay there, we felt welcomed and... More

When we were looking at somewhere to stay in the vicinity of Mission Beach, this accommodation came up, and was surprisingly cheap. I couldn't believe it, so booked it immediately, and it didn't let us down. It's a lovely house, with three or four guest rooms, and the hosts couldn't be any more welcoming. The facilities looked great, but we... More

We have stayed at many B & B's in West Aust and on our trip around Qld in Sept/Oct 2011 and this B & B is undoubtably the best we have ever experienced. The price was fantastic, the BBQ was great and the room was a real delight. The location was excellent and you can easily walk to the beach... More

We liked this place from the word go! It's very clean and well set out in colonial style with spacious rooms and situated in a peaceful natural environment - near the beach (which is really nice), breakfast is first class and hosts Dot and Noel are charming - they enjoy their guests! We've stayed at lots of B and B... More

We stayed here 2 nights in August. It was very clean, had a large bedroom and close to the beach. The hosts could not be more hospitable and were extremely helpful in recommending things to do and assisting with our BBQ one night. Would definitely recommend to others. More

My wife and I (Martha) literally ended up at A tropical Escape in Mission Beach after a bad booking elsewhere.... . We just loved the house and the surrounds, the room itself was private and quiet. Nothing was a problem including a large DVD collection we used after spending hours down the beach. The hosts were fantastic and were very... More
