I just had a splendid time at the Rainforest Motel. Mission beach is nice, cozy little place and there is lots of stuff to do. Just diving didn't work out as I hoped it would. The couple, who run the place are amazing and do everything to make your stay as nice as possible.

We stayed for a couple of nights in a unit, we drove there from motel as it was located down the road from motel. its an old Unit block that has been updated with modern furniture. The pool was big with grass surrond. old bathroom had a modern shower head so it was ok, beach towels supplied free of charge... More

I couldn't recommend this place more strongly. I recently stayed there with my wife for four days. It is just a wonderful santuary with its own rainforest in the grounds. It is so quiet and peaceful but only a few hundred metres from the bars and restuarants. It is also low cost and has great managers.
