3 adults to a room and noone felt cramped. Everything needed for a night away.Close to Skyrail and Station.Peaceful and clean. Hotel was not open but we were lucky enough to have a sneak peak and it is so reminiscent of a bygone era. I just loved it and can't wait to go back "in season" to feel the buzz.... More

We needed to stay in Kuranda to visit with family and this is the best place to stay if you want to be in town. It was a clean room, beds comfortable, close to downtown but without noise, It is a basic motel so don't go expecting anything 5 star but we enjoyed ourselves. There is a refrig in the... More

We stayed here over Easter and although the rooms were large and clean as well as come with a dvd player, free parking outside your room and walking distance to the village, SkyRail, Train etc the pool area was very unsafe for children. Being lovely warm weather we investigated the pool only to find that it hadn't been cleaned in... More

We stayed for 2 nights in July, to have a look at the area and travel on Skyrail. The hotel is in a great location to base yourself to get around the village by foot, being the first hotel when you step off the train. The large wooden verandah was a great place to sit and have a drink. The... More

The hotel was very easy to find. As you walked from the Skyrail or train station, it was the first hotel you'd see. The location was great. It was no drama to walk from the hotel to the shops through Kuranda and then back on the oter side of the road, whcih enable one to see all shops. The staff... More
