The rooms and the pool are much smaller than the pictures suggest. Friendly, but a bit over-rated and over-priced. We expected something better, based on the photographs. The property is really in cattle grazing country with some forest patches nearby. If you really want to stay in Daintree rainforest, then go to Cape Tribulation instead. Daintree village is dull. This place is owned by warm, very friendly and helpfull people. Especially if you like birds this is the place to be, the owners know almost every specie of bird in this aera.
