The Gidgee Inn is much improved from the last time we stayed, just over a year ago... Housekeeping is so much better, the rooms are clean, and the new flat screen Television sets are great. A reasonable place to stay, nothing spectacular. There are not too many options with regard to accommodation in small towns like Cloncurry. Clean and utilitarian accommodation with the fixtures and fittings looking a bit tired. Was disturbed by some noise during the night emanating from railway carriage shunting a reasonable distance away from the motel.
