We stayed here for 2 nights and had a reburbished Motel room (which I highly recommend). Our friends had booked a 2 bedroom unit which was very rundown and old. Horseshoe Bay is truly a beautiful part of Queensland, there are two beaches to choose from at this Resort so if it is windy at one beach you can go around to the other beach to the sheltered side of the Resort. We only stayed for one night here but the view from our room was absolutely lovely. We had a room overlooking Greys Bay and while this sheltered our balcony from the sea breezes it also made it very hot in the afternoon with the sun belting in. The only way to get the breeze is to open the main door.... More
