We had a very pleasant stay at this b&b. Extremely clean rooms, nice and warm inside and lots of lovely homely little touches like home-made shortbread. It feels like staying at your nan's place! Also, It's one of the few places in daylesford that doesn't have a 2 night minimum stay. Would definitely recommend this property. More

We were under the impression that this was a B&B in a cottage/old-style house. What it actually was was a room at the back of a house (like a modern extension) down a very dark driveway. It was very clean, just not what we expected and we thought that it was over-priced. More

Carrington House is absolutely lovely. It felt very much like home, with guest lounges, tea, coffee, home made biscuits and port. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Bed and breakfast that didn't offer us breakfast, just some tea and coffee in a shared loungeroom...sauna was nothing more than a converted shower, staff were very unpleasant, the husband actually insulted and mocked us. I have never experienced hosts to be that awful and I hope never to again. More

We stepped out for an hour, only to find our room had been invaded by ants. The proprietor acted surprised, yet it later turned out that this had been a problem previously.
