We spent two nights there. This is a great ace to stay. The room was good size, clean with a comfortable bed. Service and food second to none. Well situated short walk to beach. We will certainly go again well recommended.

Popped in here for a pint when staying locally and ended up staying for dinner. Very welcoming and quick service (though it was a quiet night). My companion's fish chowder was proclaimed excellent and my wild mushroom & leek risotto was spot on.Puddings were delicious & generously portioned.A warm welcome for the dog too made for a very convivial evening....

A gorgeous 2 days walking along the Norfolk coastal path and the Ship Inn was an ideal location to stay. As with many of the Public Houses along this part of the North Norfolk Coast the furnishings including decoration were high end and in keeping with its name. The evening meal was fantastic and good value (£30 each for 3...

We enjoyed a nice overnight stay at the hotel. The area is fairly quiet out of season and we were lucky to have good weather. The hotel is nicely arranged with spacious car park and outdoor seating areas. Our room was a 'classic' room (not de luxe as described in booking) and not huge but quirky with good en suite,...

Had a one night stay on a groupon deal stayed in room 7. The room was lovely and really well appointed with large comfy bed, good tea and coffee facilities, nice bathroom, bath but no shower so would not suit everyone, but nice tolietries and loads of hot water. Have to say was disappointed with the food, not terrible but...

The ship is one of six in North Norfolk run by the Flyingkiwi Inn Company. The bar and restaurant are both well furnished and comfortable. We both had scallops with a seafood risotto, followed by pork belly with champ mash and a decent jus. The dishes were delicious and fairly priced. We drank a good Rioja red offered as a 'Bin End'...

This was my fourth visit to the Ship for an evening meal and the experience was as bad as the last two occasions. Service was poor - the staff don't seem to be trained on how to put food in front of diners or how to clear the dishes away. At least this time our waiter didn't screw the top...

If you are looking to enjoy good food with ambience then the Ship Inn offers quality dining, friendly service & reasonable pricing. I visited with my husband for dinner, as did my brother & sister in law, with the consensus being a big thumbs up. If you would rather enjoy a drink then there are plenty of local ales available,...

Decided on a quick night away from work being done on our house, and landed on this absolute gem. Decor in our room and throughout the building was very pleasant. Great ale, good wine and excellent food all served by attentive yet friendly staff. Big welcome for the dog, too, so just about perfect. By the time our main course...

This is clearly a tightly and well run Ship..!! From the friendly welcome from Scott the manager after what had clearly been a busy lunch service to the excellent dinner with the freshest local fish nothing during our albeit too short stay could be faulted. The service was relaxed but attentive in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Bar serves great...
