A lovely modern pub and hotel. Room very well furnished, light and airy. Small shower room but very efficient. Nice bar area and restaurant with a very good selection on the menu. Staff very helpful. Arranged for me to have breakfast at 7 30. will definitely stay again

We recently had dinner here and cannot fault the pizzas/pastas; it did however feel like a children's restaurant somehow....and this wasn't even the holiday season. As a couple and if you have only one night, I'd choose the Orange Tree down the road instead.

We stay here probably once a year as we see it as a good escape. The food has improved a lot compared to our previous stays and the breakfast was superb as usual, good to see they are now using fresh sausages not frozen! Fantastic location for walking and relaxing.

Our room overlooked the gravel car park so you hear all the movements of the cars and delivery drivers.
