Our second stay here was just as good if not better than the last time. A very warm and sincere welcome, all the staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and comfortable situated to the back of the pub itself. The food is fantastic, beautifully presented and imaginative. We only stayed 2 weeks... More

I ate at the orange tree with my partner last night while staying in Hunstanton. The food was mostly fantastic, the scorched sea scallops with ox cheek, wasabi and pickled ginger were fantastic, the assiette of rabbit was delicious apart from a large bone in the boudin I nearly choked on( only because I was shovelling it in my mouth... We stayed on a 3 night break but would love to stay longer! Room are small but adequate and clean. All have a small terrace area to the front. Car park space is limited and at peek times will be full. Bar is limited on range of ales but has a very good wine selection. Restaurant is the gem of... More

My review is a little late, but thought i would write it anyway because everyone should know how fantastic this place is. 6 of us went to Norfolk for a weekend away in November, and booked a table way in advance as i know it can get busy, it was a friday night and surprisingly not busy but they had... Dined here in party of four. The 2-sitting arrangement means you go with the table time you are told rather than the one you want (even though it wasn't so busy the night we were there) but otherwise all round very pleasant experience. Welcoming and professional staff, ambitious wide-ranging menu comprising restaurant menu, traditional bar food offerings and specials board,... More

Stayed here as part of a weekend break deal - all-in-all a great experience (my restaurant review is filed away elsewhere on the site!) Really excellent and friendly service all the way through - from check-in to departure. During my 1 night stay, we probably had contact with 5 or 6 staff. All of them, without exception, extremely helpful and... More
