One of the best b&b's we have stayed in. Our room was spotlessly clean and in a good location. Annette and Pete were great hosts providing home made bread, cakes and wonderful breakfasts made with local produce. The packed lunches are worth ordering for the home made flapjack alone. We also completed one of Petes navigation courses which we can... More

Visiting area for Wedding/birthday combined celebration. On road parking was easy on wide main street through village. My single room was small, warm and comfortable with chuncky reclaimed wood furniture and a very relaxing colour scheme. The en-suite wet room, very modern, also small but comfortable in use due to very clever use of space. Care and thought given to... More

I booked a night here for my husband's birthday, and the owners were very helpful, suggesting places to eat and organising chocolates and champagne for our room. The rooms were very comfortable and stylish. Tea, coffee etc was available, alongside home-made delicious chocolate cookies! Breakfast was as equally good, with a wide variety of dishes on offer. The location was... More

we have just spent the easter break at the Jaret House, Tideswell. Both Pete and Annette made us feel very welcome. we stayed in one of the double rooms. it's very modern and clean. we loved the little small touches like the homemade shortbread, which was topped up daily. The breakfast menu was vast, and the quality was first class.... More

We had a wonderful long weekend in Jaret House for my mums birthday. Tideswell is perfectly placed for some beautiful local walks and good pubs. The breakfast and packed lunches, Annette's shortbread biscuits and Pete's ginger jam were divine and the extra lengths that Pete and Annette went to to make Mum's birthday special was very much appreciated. The rooms... More

This is a lovely B&B. Our double room was nicely fitted out with rustic furniture, TV and kettle. Fair trade teabags and fresh milk, and more importantly home-made shortbread biscuits, pleased us no end. The en suite was clean and tasteful. The breakfast was superb, and either home-made or locally sourced; the oatcakes were particularly special. The owners were friendly... More

Tideswell is a beautiful Peak District village nestling snuggly at the head of Tideswell Dale. The village is an absolute gem and we visit often, as there's lots of do in and around Tideswell, some great pubs, a good variety of shops, the "Cathedral of the Peak" and it's the starting point of many wonderful walks. We stayed for three... More
