Had the airport package for £56 in April for parking and overnight stay, worth every penny. We normally stay at the East Midlands Thistle, but wont stay there again as it is nearly twice the price for the same standard. Could not fault anything, nice room, clean and comfortable. Just what you want before you go on holiday. We had to... More

The hotel staff were very helpful when I made the enquiry and when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and spacious. IN room facilities included Tea/coffee/ trouser press and ironing board and iron and a safe for the valuables. The food was tremendous in quality and quantity a little expensive but its worth paying for the quality. restaurant staff... More

We stayed here the night before we flew from East Midlands airport. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was a nice size and very comfortable. I've never known such friendly staff, they were chatting away with us all evening and wishing us a good holiday. Restaurant was excellent, the food was beautiful and reasonably priced. We booked the... More

arrived at 3pm in afternoon, could check in any time after 2pm, which we thought was good. rooms were big nicely decorated and clean. pool facilities were good, and free :) ! food prices in hotel were extortionate so we had a walk down the road to a chippy called Baileys, highly recommend! the only down side that the room... Good value hotel, better than Premier Inns and cheaper! Receptionist very good and friendly, printed me a route finder map in minutes, nothing was a hassle for them. Good room with better amenities than most 4 star hotel. Tea, coffee etc, ironing facilities, trouser press, hairdyer all in room, excellent. Comfy bed, but a bit of noise from the rooms... More

I booked 2 nights via a budget deal website so only paid £39 per night for a large double room which would easily put Holiday Inn to shame. The receptionist was very welcoming and checkin was very efficient. The restaurant was agreeable but small so for the second night I explored the village and found an excellent Indian restaurant (Jee... More

The rooms are very comfortable and clean with everything you would need, hairdryer, iron and board, tea/coffee, soap/shampoo, big t.v. check in was smooth and taxi's booked for both journeys to and from the airport, our rate didnt include... My boyfriend and I stayed at the Whitehouse Hotel on Easter Sunday for one night. We got a bargain at £39.00 for the night with spa facilities included. Check in was 2pm which is earlier than a lot of other hotels that we have stayed at. The lady on reception was friendly and we were pointed to our room. The... More

The only reason I'm giving two stars rather than just one is because my complaint was eventually dealt with. But should it really have taken 3 months?! It started when I sent a mild letter of complaint about an expensive but truly awful New Year's Eve meal. That evoked no reply. I sent an email. Again no reply until a... More
