We recently stayed here with our 2 small children. The site was packed and and very lively so the children made lots of friends. If you prefer serenity, this site probably is not for you. The children loved whizzing around on their bikes, going in the swimming pool and playing on the adventure playground. There is a shop onsite which... More

This is a bustling site with children everywhere on their bikes and scooters so perfect with having 2 young children, the pool is lovely only the main pool is heated though but our 2 sons still went in the baby pool. The family bar is great with kids entertainment on selected days and sport on the TV's, we was there... More

We as a family ( two teenage children ) love the site we have been going on and off for about 8 years. Most of the pitches have hedges between and plenty of room for awning and car so as for looking into neighbours vans I don't understand where jackie n stayed. As for heated shower rooms at the end... I agree with everything Janet 898 says. I am recovering from an operation and my husband and I thought a weekend away would do us the world of good. The first site we were allocated was so tight we couldn't get our motor home on, we did ask to move and this was no problem. The pitches are so close... More

We stayed here the first weekend of September and enjoyed it. As others have said it could benefit from more toilet blocks but apart from that it's good. There is a fully stocked shop, pub, cafe/bar, large outside sitting area which is nice when sunny, play area with climbing frames etc., large toilet block near reception, laundry, shower block (20p... Just stayed 2 nights here. It's a good site BUT if you don't have children and you get a pitch near the children's play area you'll find it not very peaceful ! Pitches are good and showers have plenty of hot water ( extra cost of 20p for 4 mins. )
