Enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very accommodating and not-phased when I asked which breakfast options were vegan, though they didn't know whether the vegetarian sausages were, they tried really hard to find out. Only problem was that there was nothing vegan at all for the evening meal, but we ate out in Ulverston so this wasn't a problem.

Welcoming staff, and located just south of the lakes district. Good stopping off point or base for exploring. Isolated, but popular with the locals for meals and drinks.

Went one Saturday afternoon, decided not to opt for the two meals for £10. I chose the burger for £9.00 ish and my partner had the gammon. My burger was really overcooked and the gammon was nothing special. The chips were obviously oven chips and again really over cooked. Will certainly not go back.
