We took some friends for Sunday lunch. The place was packed but our meals came quickly and were very tasty as usual - a Sunday lunch like Mum used to make!! The sweets are to die for
My partner and I have stayed here before but when we tried to get in in January it was fully booked. We had however on our last visit had a very pleasant meal,so decided to eat there again with friend who are local. Stayed in the 2 bed cottage attached to the pub. Cottage was lovely, well equipped with 2 log burning stoves and all mod cons. Just what you'd expect for a 4*. pub was fab with great ambience, we ate in the spacious downstairs restaurant. Staff were attentive, considerate to our 4 yr old needs and food was excellent. Would definately...

Me and my husband sat outside so we could watch our boys play on the park over the road. The kids loved it having somewhere to run around. The breakfast was delicious with lovely fresh produce. On the day of...

The rooms were wonderful and so clean and fresh. The beer was GREAT with a very good choice and the food was absolutely lovely. The scrambled egg at breakfast was simply...
