I arrived early but was greeted with a smile and shown to my room which I have to say was fantastic, spotlessly clean and great views across the estuary. Neil is a great host and helped me out with an early breakfast. Keep up the good work

We stopped off for lunch at Ravenglass after a stroll on Seascale beach and had a wonderful lunch sitting outside on the porch in the summer sunshine! Rosegarth are dog friendly and allowed us to bring the dogs into the seating area and stay underneath the tables. We had simple salads, which were heaped up with nice fresh and crunchy... More

The detail was well done here. Good rooms, excellent shower, great breakfast, good tasty tea in the room and VERY clean. Neil and his team have made this a very well run place. Great views over the estuary and very handy for the Ratty railway.

This is our 4th break at the Rosegarth. It is a beautiful traditional country guest house. The rooms are all decorated with that English country feel, and kept impeccably clean. The views from the bedrooms across the the tidal estuary, where the rivers Mite,Esk and Irt meet is absolutely stunning. Neil (the owner) has provided a preview of the estuary... More

We had an amazing time at this guesthouse. Neil was a great host literally going the extra mile by driving us to the nearby garage when our car broke down. Amazing breakfasts and sea views. We would come back anytime.

I cannot find fault with this B&B. The room was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. It was the best night's sleep I've had in ages. Followed by a breakfast worthy of a Michelin Star. The staff exemplified good customer service and were extremely knowledgeable about the local area. The location was beautiful looking out over the estuary. If you are... More

I didn't sleep over at Rosegarth but dropped in for lunch with friends. Delicious, homely food, thoughtfully prepared. Nice people running it with a sense of humour. Thought it was a bit odd that even though we were paying customers we weren't allowed to access to the WiFi. Standard practice everywhere else in the world. Strange, not sure what they're... More

I stayed here one evening whilst working in the area. We arrived quite late but the owner was lovely about it. I was given a room at the front facing the sea, fab view to wake up to. The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, good pillows [which I always think is important!] and lots of nice little touches,... More
