Stayed for one night in Room 7. Good sized room with a very large double bed. Ensuite small but perfectly adequate for our needs with shower over bath. Breakfast very good but a good selection of cereals, yoghurts etc plus a very nice cooked breakfast. The only reason I didn't give a top rating was due to the evening meal.... More

We booked The Screes Hotel through Deal Monster. An excellent offer indeed. This is a traditional Lakeland pub; quite quirky,exactly as it should be. We were given room 1 which was very warm, comfortable and cosy. We booked this short break on a whim as it was a WOWCHER deal. I can honestly say that we will be going back even at full price. Our hosts were more than welcoming, nothing too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal for our walking/photographic break.

Really enjoyed our 3 night break at the Screes inn; it's very clean and in a great location! We stayed along with our friends over the 2nd week of Easter for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable with recent refurbishments evident and still ongoing to further improve.
