We stayed here as a family group attending a wedding nearby. The location is perfect for coast to coast walkers. We were made very welcome. Breakfast was of a good standard. Buy some of the home made jams and marmalade as it is delicious. A very good place to stay with walks on the door step.

We stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding and were very impressed by the warm welcome and cosy and clean rooms. Whilst we did not eat our evening meal in the restaurant, we were very impressed by the extensive and yummy breakfast menu. Ian, the host, was welcoming, but not intrusive.we would definitely return.
