First time visit to this area with friends. Found the hotel to be located in a beautiful part of Cumbria amidst breath taking scenery. Found Dave and the rest of the staff (although limited in number) very friendly and efficient, even lit a fire by request of my wife whilst serving meals. We shall be back later in the year.

Stayed for 3 nights over Easter, our room badly needed decorating and the mattress was old and lumpy.
