A good hospitable South African Brai chef producing very good steaks ... he has though promised to review his wine listing .. albeit that his local ales were very good indeed... Barry could not have been more hospitable as a host ... looking forward to a return visit!

If you are need somewhere to stay in the South West corner of the Lakes you won't find anywhere better than the King Billy. Great food, fantastic value for money. Look no further. Barry and the team have that perfect balance of efficient and friendly.

We stayed in a cottage 2 mins walk from the Pub and ate there twice over a weekend, food was great and portions huge. If you order the mixed grill be prepared for it to feed the whole of your party! Everyone was friendly and service was good. Will be back!
