My boyfriend and I had a long weekend (Friday to Monday) at Thanet Well Lodges. We stayed in the VIP 2 lodge and thought it was lovely. I would say that the highlight of the lodge was the outside hot tub which we used every night with the obligatory champagne and strawberries. The staff at the Lodges were very friendly... More

Location was wonderful, fantastic views but we did not receive a very warm welcome staff. Reported TV was not working at beginning of stay and nothing was done about it, after a day walking and the weather so awful a glass of wine In front of the tv would have been nice. Beds are cheap, so uncomfortable and pillows a... More

This is the 3rd time we have visited Thanetwell and stayed in their lodges, we had a vip cabin with hot tub. The cabin was clean and to it's usual high standards. The hot tub was clean and checked daily by onsite staff. We were 2 couples with 2 children, ideal for a base to visit the lake district and... More

Where to start, firstly the so called lodge is actually a caravan with wooden cladding, it even still had the wheels on it, the bathroom had mould around the bath, the shower in the ensuite had mould in it, the place was nothing like the pictures on Hoseasons web site and when we questioned our accomodation we were told the... This stay was just brilliant. Me and my husband took our mothers away for the week and it was great. Stayed in a VIP 3 lodge and it was just perfect. Furnished to a good standard with hot tub. Stayed here with my fiancé and his niece. The lodge and hot tub were awesome. The views we had beautiful. The lodge was goegeous inside and out. Real home from home. Only issues we had were. No O2 signal. Wifi was expensive. £14 per week. there is a small shop on site. That's it. The local pub is a drive... More

What a lovey place to stay! My husband and I, with 2 teenage girls stayed for 4 nights on April 9th. On arrival we went to reception where there is also a little shop that stocks essentials milk, eggs etc & check in was very quick they just hand over the keys with some instructions. The people who run the... More

We stayed in these lodges on 2 occassions last year with family and friends. The first time , in April 2011, we booked a long weekend. On arrival early friday evening we were delighted with the lodge and the quiet surroundings. The lodge was modern, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The weather that weekend was so fantastic we bought... More

The location is very secluded however the small village of greystoke is a 5 min drive away with a nice lttle pub , Ullswater is about half an hour away and Keswick is not far... More
