Not sure how this place is only a three star hotel, it was perfect. The staff, especially Jamie and Tim were superb. The value including dinner and breakfast was amazing, they even have excellent champagne that is reasonably priced.

This was a late booking and was an outstanding choice. The location in Borrowdale is absolutely stunning. The fabric, decor and comfort of the hotel is faultless. The staff are friendly and totally helpful in every way. First class restaurant with brilliant service.

Stayed in the superior spa room which is absolutely fabulous, large room, beautifully decorated, views to the fells and derwent water. Luxurious bathroom with spa bath. Excellent hotel and superb staff. My husband and I stayed at the Leathes Head with our dog. The look is a luxury, charming country house hotel and the atmosphere created by the staff is 100% relaxed, welcoming and down to earth. This hotel offered fantastic value for money and we will definitely be returning as soon as possible.
