Just back from a great weekend in Borrowdale and what a tremendous setting Glaramara is. Great value and the food was tremendous and staff all very helpful. Lots of improvements planned with ensuite rooms etc. Couldn't fault it...my first trip and I'll be back. keswick 6 miles away id a wonderful town also to explore

This is the perfect place for night two of the C2C. Yes the rooms are a little basic with shared showers etc but ensuite better rooms will be available next year.Very good value for Excellent three course evening meal,B+B and packed lunch.Top quality food with walkers portions! The staff all make a real effort.
