Myself and two colleagues had had a long day of meetings and driving. We were heading back towards the M6 but decided to find a pub for dinner. We were fortunate enough to find the Alvanley Arms. We had a great welcome. A nice local. Great menu and excellent portions. Faultless. We'll visit again next time in the area.

We stayed for two nights.The staff were very friendly and most helpful.The food was excellent,and the room was very cosy.It is situated in a very nice part of the country,with the shire horse centre next door.Will certainly return in very near future.

My partner and I have just returned from a weekend at the Alvanley Arms. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely go again. The rooms are very clean, food is lovely and the staff and surroundings are perfect for a weekend getaway. Can’t wait to book the next trip !

Rooms were good size with clean bathroom. Service was of a good standard. The only disappointment was the food in the restaurant which was dry, bland and overpriced pub food which appeared to be frozen rather than fresh. Would not eat there again
