Stayed at the Wycliffe for two nights while visiting friends and we must say what a pleasant time we had! The staff were very polite and most helpful. The bedroom was well equipped with everything that you need, including a large flat screen tv and was emmaculately clean - which we appreciate. But it was the food that we really... More

THe room was small, but Ok,but there were two sources of annoyance. First the planes landing at Manchester airport went right overhead....day and night, and secondly on two of our three nights, patrons in the bar were very noisy until well after 1.30 am...which is totally unacceptable.

I recently stayed here due to family illness requiring me to be on hand. I was made to feel very welcome, my single room turned out to be a double with a lovely bathroom. And the breakfast was excellent in every respect, hot plate with hot food, and perfect poached eggs. I would certainly stay here again.

My wife and I stayed overnight prior to a flight from Manchester Airport, the following morning. We found that the hotel staff were extremely helpful, and permitted us to leave our car at the Wycliffe while we were away. Making this a very attractive alternative to the more expensive and impersonal airport hotels. We found the whole hotel was immaculately... More

I stayed here for one night while away on business and found it to be very good indeed. It is a small family-run hotel with a cosy traditional English style. The customer service was friendly and helpful and the bedroom had everything required. What really stood out was the food which was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Having stayed... More

We continue to stay here when we visit the UK. I cannot recall any establishment which has better, more friendly service. The staff are professional and genuinely seem to care. The restaurant is very good and punches well above its weight. The rooms are very clean but the double beds are a little small and quite hard. However this is... More

This is a superb hotel. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and was spotlessly clean. The TV was a good size flat screen type with plenty of channels to choose from. The facilities in the room included an iron/board, desk, Wi-Fi and tea/coffee. I will certainly go back to the... More
