We had a good welcome on arrival and room appeared to be clean and presentable.The bedroom and en suite walls had recently been painted and the doors looked new. However, there was a smell of stale cigarettes which was not pleasant for non-smokers and the carpet was grubby and stained. The skirting boards in the en suite were also grubby... More

Old style pub with accomodation above. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Pub area has a nice atmosphere. Rooms upstairs were clean and well equiped. Nights stay rounded off with a good full english breakfast. A very comfortable b&b.
