We have just returned from a weekend away at this Inn. This is the second time we have stayed here and we have had a brilliant time. The Inn is charming, our room very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. The surrounding countryside is lovely and... Having booked a table a week before for 5pm on 'Mothering Sunday,' my family of three arrived at this inn, and after locating our Reserved table, looked at the set meal flyer on our table promoting ' Mothers Day 'saw the choice of either two or three courses, of which, if the latter was chosen, would cost £17.99 a head.... Period thatched pub with rooms and restaurant in beautiful quiet location. Room No1 clean but small, bathroom too small for a single never mind double. Comfortable double bed squeezed into space not really big enough. However, large TV and wifi for those who can't bear to be away from home facilities. Drinks and biscuits renewed every day along with fresh... More

Reading some of the reviews i was little hesitant about staying here but some of them are over 2 years old and things have obviously changed, and for the better. 1st off it's a Inn with rooms so don't expect some 5* star marble everywhere, massive rooms hotel. In saying that, my room was spotlessly clean, bed was 1 of... More

We have just spent two nights at this lovely old pub with a fabulous setting fronting onto the Great Ouse River - so pretty and so peaceful. We had a clean, cosy, comfortable room, excellent breakfast and evening meals and very friendly efficient service from Kat (manager) and her staff. Special thanks to Ryan, whose ready smile and cheerful manner would... More
