A great welcoming b n b - a home with such character. Rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was so homely. Breakfast was 'help yourself' - just like being at home. Location is perfect for pubs and we recommend the Indian restaurant! Such good value too.

We had an enjoyable stay at "The Old Stables". It is a characterful old building and very comfortable. I could not fault proprietor Jeff - he made us feel very welcome, like staying at a friend's house.

The Old Stables was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and we were even given the use of the kitchen and sitting room. We were made very welcome and Jeff's communication beforehand was excellent making arrangements for our arrival and recommending somewhere for dinner. We felt like friends. Highly recommended.

A lovely homely, relaxed, clean and comfortable B&B, Jeff could not have have made us feel any more welcome than he did, especially as we arrived very late at night. We were made to feel feel like old friends and told to make his home our home for the duration of our stay. Highly recommended.
