We were very disappointed at the place. We got a room on ground floor facing the street. We could hear every person walk bye. The room was dirty and the breakfast cold. I would choose some other place to stay

The saracens was lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt wrlcome and relaxed. Sunday lunch was very good. A lively place to stay. I will be more than happy to come back.
Old Amersham is a beautiful and historic corner of rural England. The Saracens Head is a well preserved 15th Century Inn with real character.A busy and friendly bar offers a good collection of ales all served with a cheerful smile and great welcome. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding with the tastiest bacon and sausage we have...

I really enjoyed staying at this cozy inn. In the evenings, the atmosphere at the bar is warm and
friendly with a crowd always ready for a good time. Aside from the inn’s friendly and
accommodating owner, my favorite part in staying here was the full English breakfast
prepared and served each morning. The rooms are basic but
comfortable with...

I had a room in the bloack at the back, which was very spacious. Only gripe was that it smelt a bit "musty" (perhaps not used for a while?). Very good breakfast and friendly landlord. Local beers very nice.
I stayed here whilst attending a wedding a few miles away. Lovely B&B, and owners could not have been more helpful, even to the point of offering us all a lift to the church!
My friends/colleagues and I stayed here for one night, before a funeral. It is a lovely old-fashioned pub with very comfortable, stylish bedrooms off a courtyard just behind the bar. Two of us had the single rooms which were a good size, very nicely furnished, each with their own ensuite shower room, and two of us shared a twin room...

Stayed here in September and I did feel like Shergar in my stable but must admit slept well. Room pretty basic but lacked Wifi which is essential for me when I work away. Food poor and breakfast gave me trots. Service great and landlord is a great laugh. Probably would stay here again if there was Wifi and I could...

Our party chose items from both and we were very satisfied with the food, the service was excellent and the atmosphere very welcoming and the price was very...

We have just spent a few days based at the Saracens Head and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The inn has a lot of personality, and the owner, Kerry, even more! The place is obviously well liked by the locals which is always a plus point.
The Saracens Head is not 'posh'. Rooms are clean and comfortable with tea and coffee available...
