Situated in the town centre, close to restaurants and shops. 5 min walk from the bus station. Clean and quiet. It's a very practical hotel to stay in. Good price.

Just finished our two night stay at Maria de la Luz in Valladolid. For the price this was a great stay. the place is spotless and the food and service excellent. There was wifi and a fully covered secure parking area which we appreciated as we had a rental car. The pool was clean and had a "deep"end. If you... More

The location is great. Easy walk to a cenote. We stayed one night and it was okay. Upon arrival we bought the buffet breakfast ( ~70 pesos). Many big parties of locals arrived at the same time (late Sunday morning) and it was fight to get any food or attention. The next morning the breakfast included in the room price... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for one night. The room was clean, but very dated and as the reviewer HeadedOut stated, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Our room smelled of mothballs. I thought the hotel was good enough (considering the modest price) for a one night stay in order to visit the ruins -- I think my husband and... More

Stayed one night and that was enough. Between the booming doors in the echoing hallways and the wood-hard beds, this establishment is not somewhere we will visit again. True, you get what you pay for, but in this case we got more than for what we bargained, i.e., noisy hallways, a rattling aircon, etc. It does have a large, clean... More

We stayed there for one night only (fortunately) and the visit to Chichen Itza was the good experience of the trip, not this hotel. The rooms were ok but the bathroom was filthy. There was not hot water (not even warm) for the shower in the evening and the air conditioning was so noisy that we had to switch it... More

motel style rooms, opened on to the pool/restaurant/lobby area, so quite nosiy and echoey. not the cleanest place i have stayed in. breakfast gets 10/10 for quantity, doesn't score so well for quality. right on the main square so excellent location, and private, safe parking under the building.

This is a great, centrally located cheapie right on the main square. Check your expectations -- it's $45 a night with breakfast included. Somehow, even with the small, pastel painted rooms, it's a charming spot. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The courtyard/restaurant does get a bit loud -- we were in an interior room on... More

The only dock on this place were that the rooms are a Tad worn and not super quiet. However the excellent location, price, and *breakfast* more than made up for it. We were there to see the region and it was an excellent home base. I didn't think I would like this place but we took a chance because of... More
