Kabah-na is beautifully situated on the beach south of Mahahual, close enough to be accessable, but far enough to avoid the cruise ship crowds. The reef is an easy kayak (provided) ride and the snorkeling is amazing! The excursion guides, Luis and Lucian, are capable, knowledgable, and thoughtful -- they took us to Bacalar Lagoon, the Hach Lagoon and River... More

This was a great eco resort which we really enjoyed. It is a ways out of town so not recommended without a car. The cabanas were right on the beach. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. It had very nice little restaurant on the property, with continental breakfast included. The Kitchenette was lacking, it only had a hot plate,... More

I stayed in this place by recommendation and it exceeded my expectations. What it is NOT is a luxury beach camp. But it is also NOT a backpakers cabana hostel. It is however a set of very nice and appropriately appointed beach and near beach cabanas. They are clean and several have hot water. You need to understand the context:... More

Having stayed at a really nice cabana in Tulum, this place was not exactly what we were expecting, so thought it best to advise others as to what it is. I'll try to be as ballanced as possible. Biggest piece of advice is do not arrive in the dark; it is a scary 30 minute drive down a terrible road.... More

nice place, we spent 2 nights due to our travel plan but it is worth to stay longer. Really nice people, the cabaña was Ok, no need for A/C at nighttime. The Caribe is just gorgeous there. The town without tourist from the big cruisers is really quiet. We found this incredible little restaurant with great fresh food and unreal... More

Right on the beach, Kabah-na is the best place if you want to be out of the crowd and relax. It's located 8 km from the centre on a road in very bad conditions (30 min. drive). We stayed there in September and the place looked scruffy. The room looked great but it was dirty. The bathroom was awful and... More

We are really sorry, you found some problems in your staying, and we take with pleasure your commentary to ameliorate our service. It’s true that in low season period, we have some more problems to give a perfect service, due to the tropical rains and hurricane season that damages the coastal road and makes very difficult to maintain everything clean,... My partner, myself and a friend stayed at Kabah-na Eco Resort for 8 days, and it was fantastic! This small relaxing resort is perfect for getting away from everything! And it's a proper Mexican experience, away from the westernised tourist strips of Cancun and Tulum. The owners are great, not just there to serve, but happy to have a drink... More

We stayed for five days and were very pleased with this place. Here is a quick summary why one should choose this hotel: 1. LOCATION. It is right on the beach. The setting is spectacular. The small resort lies in a very beautiful location. We have made the trip on the southern road along the coast from Mahahual a couple... More

We actually stayed here three months in a cabana. It's possibly the most beautiful place on earth!
