We were in Villa 3. Well maintained, A/C in bedroom worked quietly and efficiently. Hot water, internet, magnificent views. Beach nice to walk on, but not very wide. You can go swimming, but it is rocky right off the beach. You definitely need a car, except to walk to La Lunista restaurant, which is worthy of another ++review.

We stayed August 19-26. Weather was very hot and humid--took a few days to get used to it. You only needed hot weather clothes, swimsuit, shorts, cool shirts. Whatever management did to improve the quality of the property worked, because we had a near perfect experience there. You check in at the Akumal Caribe facility.
