Staying at La Paloma B & B, was a great ending to our six months in Mexico. John and Sheri were great hosts and made us feel at home. The place is in a great location and walkable to everywhere in Ajijic. The next time on our way North, we will for sure stay at La Paloma again.

I recently spent 2 weeks at la Paloma, a beautiful B&B in the charming town of Ajijic. Ajijic is about 40 minutes by car from Guadalajara airport. La Paloma is centrally located with easy access to shopping, the weekly market and a great variety of restaurants. The B&B features a front yard with swimming pool and a peaceful courtyard with... What a surprise when I entered to find a beautiful pool, lovely grounds and relaxing patio area. La Paloma is the most relaxing B & B which felt like home. The guests have their own kitchen area to prepare meals if they want. The location is close to be able to walk to shopping, restaurants, and the lake. Carrol, the... More

Just read many of the reviews and the 'No Surprise' is how good they all are. La Paloma is laid out like a small hotel but has the charm and warmth of a B&B. You won't find a better location in Ajijic as it is far enough from the main plaza so you won't get the noise from the fiestas... More

We were fortunate enough to find rooms here for two couples for 2 nights, I'm sure only because of the slow season this year. We stayed mid-week; it was quiet & secure & within walking distance to the lake, the main square & restaurants. Lovely gardens & swimming pool. Carol, the manager does a great job of helping everyone feel... More

On this, our 2nd visit to Ajijic, we found this gem of a B&B at La Paloma - not just any B&B. I write this sitting in the garden by the lovely pool surrounded by beautiful flowers, songbirds and sunshine. The interior of the building is surrounded by lovely, local artwork and beautiful furniture. The rooms are clean, comfortable and... More

Carrol Flood is a wonderful manager and hostess. She is really helpful! Easy walking distance to a cyber cafe and to an excellent daytime restaurant. Also an easy walk to La Bodega, a reasonably priced evening restaurant with live entertainment.

We spent one month at La Paloma. It is a bed and breakfast that makes you feel at home. Carrol is warm, friendly and helpful, as well as a font of knowledge about the area, the history, the people,... Although Carrol was on holidays for a week while we were there, Joanne provided us with the same level of service... More

Enjoyed my stay at La Paloma. Great food and friendly staff. Plan to stay again next time.I travel to Ajijic. La Paloma had a nice pool and I spent many hours swimming and reading pool side. I will miss playing with "Scottie" the owners dog.
